-
Before beginning Trigger Point Injections, every patient meets with our Certified Nurse Practitioner for a thorough medical consultation. This visit includes a review of your health history, current care plan, and wellness goals to ensure injections are safe and appropriate for your needs. From there, a personalized treatment plan is created to support your chiropractic, rehab, and massage care.
The new patient consultation is billable to insurance, and must be completed prior to receiving your first injection.
-
Following your consultation, Trigger Point Injections are administered onsite by our Certified Nurse Practitioner. Each injection is carefully delivered using ultrasound guidance for accuracy, safety, and patient comfort. Solutions are conservative and non-steroidal, designed to relax tight muscles, reduce inflammation, and restore mobility.
Most patients benefit from a series of 2–3 weekly injections, spaced appropriately to support lasting relief and optimal healing.

How do trigger point injections fit with my current care?
These injections are designed to complement your chiropractic, physical rehabilitation, and massage therapy. By reducing muscle tension and pain, they allow your body to respond more effectively to your overall care plan.
Are steroids used in the injections?
No. Our approach is conservative and non-steroidal. Solutions may include Bupivacaine (a local anesthetic) or Toradol (a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory), depending on your individual needs.
